EstiMates is a company focused on biostatistics, clinical data management (including eCRF development), statistical programming and data science (e.g. tailored visualizations) of clinical research.  www.estimates.fi 

Personally, I have a long history working in clinical trials, first starting with statistical programming activities and then moving on to biostatistical positions including managerial roles.

Over the years, I have had the chance to work in a large variety of therapeutic areas and clinical phases both in drug development and in the area of functional food aiming e.g to EFSA health claims. I have also gained experience in HTA-statistics and from the preparation of HTA-dossiers. Currently, especially satisfying for me is when I’m able to give strategic support for our clients in the planning of their program/study in finding the most effective designs/sample sizes etc. for their studies.     

In addition to the formal clinical trials, I enjoy consulting researchers in a variety of academic research projects, where you often have to think outside of the box when adapting the statistical methods to a more uncontrolled setting. See my publications in Pubmed.
