Senior Biostatistician / Biostatistician
What would you work on?
Biostatistician:
- Biostatistician – tasks in clinical trials, including supporting study protocol writing / selection of study design, sample size calculation, writing Statistical Analysis Plans, analysing data and reporting the results.
- Guiding and collaborating with Statistical Programmers and biostatisticians
- Supporting internal process development and business development
- Statistical consultations on academic research projects
- In addition, in the senior role, e.g.
- collaborating with KOLs of a variety of therapeutic areas
- acting as a statistical expert regarding key decisions for e.g. study design, regulatory interactions, results interpretation
- supporting CRO-oversight by the sponsor

Requirements and qualifications
- MSc or equivalent degree in statistics/natural science/mathematics (or equivalent field).
- Good skills in either SAS or R
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of statistical methodology used in clinical trials
- Interest in Life Sciences and active attitude on gaining understanding of underlying science behind the data
Beneficial qualities
- Experience working as a biostatistician in clinical trials (min. 3 yrs required for the senior role)
- Self-starter and continuous learner
- Knowledge of standards like ICH-E9 and CDISC
- Solid experience in writing scientific reports
